Astral projection has gained a great deal of attention over the last few years and interest in the subject is increasing rapidly. By using the techniques on these pages, and regular practice, you can join the many thousands of people who are learning the art of projection. Astral projection is the name given to the practice of leaving your physical body and traveling along the astral planes. It is a concept which many find difficult to accept. Beyond the physical plane there are many other planes, these resonate at different frequencies to the physical world and to access them you need to tune your consciousness into their frequency.
Imagine a simple transistor radio. When the radio is tuned to a single station all the other stations still exist, but your frequency setting only allows you to hear one. To pick up another station you would have to change the frequency by adjusting the tuner control. This is similar to how we project. On the physical level, where we find ourselves for most of our waking life, our consciousness is in sync with our physical body (and the physical world), if we adjust our level of vibration, then we drift out of sync.. The result is a separation from the physical. We are then able to consciously leave our physical bodies and exist at a higher frequency. The physical world will now be vibrating on a frequency too low for us to interact with.
Tuning your conscious awareness out of physical reality is not that unusual, you do it every night while you are dreaming, but to do it consciously, while awake, does require discipline and practise. The first step is to make sure that you are mentally prepared for the experience, so please read through the preparation section before going on to the exercises.
